Otsego Lions Club

Otsego Lions Club was chartered in 2013 by members of the community that wanted to get involved in Otsego and give back. We joined Lions International under the mission of “We Serve”. Today we have more than 30+ members that come together with good fellowship and mutual respect. Our Club is one of 46,000 other local clubs and the 1.4 Million members of Lions International, the largest and most effective service organization in the world.

Otsego Lions take an active interest in the civic, cultural, and social welfare of the community. We undertake projects and raise funds to donate to provide assistance to people or groups. Our primary outreach program is Otsego Lions Gifts Anonymous, where we collect gifts and donations to provide hundreds of families the opportunity to have presents for their children under their tree each Christmas. We also actively assist CAER Food Shelf with volunteer hours and financial contributions; donated a new ping-pong table for ISD 728 COMPASS program
students; host the beer garden at the Otsego Prairie Festival; built and donated the GAGA pit at Otsego Prairie Park and assisted many individual people or organizations within our community.

New members are always welcome. Otsego Lions meets the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings start at 6:30PM at Otsego Prairie Center. If you are a likeminded person interested in giving back to their community, we look forward to seeing you at our next
meeting!
